Steel grade: E470
Standard: EN 10294-1
Material certificate: EN 10204:3.1
Delivery mode: AR (rolled steel)
Dimension range: outer diameter 30 - 250mm / inner diameter 20 - 200mm
Material pipes are widely used in the automotive, oil, gas, agricultural and engineering industries. Material tubes are used to make bushings, hydraulic cylinder parts, shafts, rollers, drills, tools, etc.
They are seamless hot-rolled steel tubes and are manufactured in accordance with EN 10294-1, based on clean dimensions that can be machined from the tubes, guaranteed by the manufacturing plant. The most common steel grade stocked, E470, is a low carbon alloy steel with a higher strength compared to conventional E355 or S355 structural steel, while maintaining good weldability. The tubes have not been subjected to a separate heat treatment after rolling, hence the impact strength properties have not been defined or tested. The steel has been treated to improve machinability and is also hardenable.
Steel grade: S355J2H, S355+N
Standard: EN 10210-1, EN 10297-1
Material certificate: EN 10204:3.1
Delivery condition: N (normalized)
Dimension range: outside diameter 17,2 - 660 mm / wall 2,3 - 100 mm
Seamless thick-walled structural steel tubes are used for applications such as building frames, bridges, railings, mechanical engineering components, rollers, scaffolding, cranes, etc.
S355 is a low carbon alloy steel. This medium carbon steel grade is characterised by both good welding properties and good impact resistance. S355J2H is also well suited for use in cold conditions.
Steel grade: E235, E355
Standard: EN 10305-1
Material certification: EN 10204:3.1
Delivery condition: C (cold-drawn), N (normalized)
Dimension range: outside diameter 3 - 280 mm / wall 0,5 - 20 mm
Seamless precision steel tubes are used when a particularly high degree of dimensional accuracy is required. Due to their insulating properties, precision tubes are typically used in pneumatic and hydraulic components and machine parts.
E235 and E355 are low carbon alloy steels with good machining and welding properties.
Steel grade: S355J2H
Standard: EN 10210-1/-2
Material certificate: EN 10204:3.1
Delivery condition: hot rolled
Dimension range: outside diameter 40 - 400 mm / wall 2,9 - 20 mm
Seamless, square or rectangular tubular bar. RHS (Rectangular Hollow Section) tubes are widely used in frame structures and railings for buildings, bridges, ships, etc.
S355 is a low carbon alloy steel. This medium carbon steel grade is characterised by both good welding properties and good impact resistance. S355J2H is also well suited for use in cold conditions.
