Welded cylindrical tubes are stored in steel grade E355 and shipping space +SR stress relieved. Other steel grades and delivery modes are available on factory order. The pipes are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the European standard EN 10305-2. The standard ensures precise dimensional tolerances and a high quality surface finish for the tubes.
Welded cylindrical tubes are skived & roller burnished (SRB). The inner surface tolerance of the tube is H8 (except H9 for the smallest inside diameters). The inner diameter of a roller burnished cylinder tube has a surface roughness of max Ra 0,3µm. The precise diameter tolerance combined with the low surface roughness provides a high quality combination that fits tightly with, for example, a hydraulic cylinder gasket, allowing the gasket to have a long life and eliminating possible leakage due to surface roughness.
Welded cylinder liners are an alternative to seamless cylinder liners and are best suited to applications where the closest possible wall thickness tolerance and hence centrality is required. They are suitable for a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic applications where durable and reliable cylinders are required. They are used, for example, in hydraulic cylinders for cranes, forklifts, excavators and industrial equipment.
