Welded, cold-formed cylindrical tubes RTU tube

RTU "Ready-To-Use" cylinder tubes are cold drawn from welded tube (delivery condition +C = cold drawn) and are stored in steel grade E355. The tubes are manufactured accor­ding to the requirements of the European standard EN 10305-2.

Unlike roll-formed cylindrical tubes, RTU tubes are not heat treated after cold drawing, nor are the internal surfaces separately machined or polished. The internal diameter tolerance is H9 (with the exception of H10 for the smallest diameters) and the internal surface roughness is max Ra 0,8µm.

RTU cylinder liners are a cost-effective alternative to seamless or welded roller-burnished cylinder liners and are suitable for a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic applications where the hydraulic cylinder is not required to operate at maximum power and the cylinder does not operate continuously. Typical applications include agricultural machinery.
